Courses for Equine Therapists

The field of Equine Rehabilitation is rapidly developing with a seemingly continuous, and often conflicting, stream of new ideas and theories. As a working practitioner, trying to keep pace with these changes isn’t easy and we know many of you feel you are getting left behind.

Through our Advanced CPD courses we teach you the why and the how of exercise rehabilitation for horses, so that you can provide a reliable rehabilitation service to your clients and never feel confused about what exercise to prescribe again.  You will also develop your knowledge of the use of correct exercise in injury prevention.

The Advanced Diploma in Equine Rehabilitation is the only CPD programme of its kind.  During this year long course you will join a community of other like minded equine therapy professionals.  Together, you will develop a deep understanding of exercise prescription for horses and take away your own set of comprehensive rehabilitation plans which will enhance your practice and greatly improve the quality of life and performance of the horses under your care.

For those of you who would like to study a short course we also have a bitesized CPD in equine exercise rehabilitation.

Courses for Veterinary Nurses

We teach Veterinary Nurses how to rehabilitate dogs through exercise.

We know that many of you are frustrated that you are unable to help your patients fulfill their best recovery from surgery or injury. You may even be carrying out some physiotherapy in practice but without a full understanding of the underlying science and reasoning.  Whatever your level of understanding, we have CPD courses for you.

As a veterinary nurse you are often responsible for advising on post operative exercise and exercise for geriatrics and conservative cases.  Our courses will teach you the why and how of canine rehabilitation so that you can offer structured exercise prescription programmes to support your patients and owners better through the rehabilitation process.

The Diploma in Canine Exercise Rehabilitation is the only CPD programme of its kind and is suitable for veterinary nurses working in first opinion or referral practices. During this course you will develop the knowledge and skills required to carry out exercise rehabilitation for orthopaedic and neurological patients and you will take away your own set of comprehensive rehabilitation plans which will enhance your practice and greatly improve the quality of life for your canine patients.

For those of you who would like to study a short course we also have a bitesized CPD in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation for Veterinary Nurses.

Courses for Canine Therapists

We teach canine massage therapists, physiotherapists and hydrotherapists how to rehabilitate dogs through exercise.

As a canine therapist or hydrotherapist you will be working with physically impaired patients much of the time. We know that the rapid increase of knowledge in canine rehabilitation has led to many of you feeling left behind where exercise prescription for particular conditions and treatments is concerned.

Through our Advanced CPD you can build on the knowledge and skills of your current practice so that you can confidently advise on rehabilitation exercise for your patients.

The Diploma in Canine Exercise Rehabilitation  is the only CPD programme of its kind.  During this course you will develop the knowledge and skills required to carry out exercise rehabilitation for orthopaedic and neurological patients and you will take away your own set of comprehensive rehabilitation plans which enhance your current practice and greatly improve the quality of life for your canine patients.
